One partner creates an account and taps “Share pair code.” The other chooses “I have a pair code” on the welcome screen and enters it. That’s it — your private space opens for both of you.
Shown once at signup. Write it down and store it privately. It restores your keys on any new device. If lost, encrypted history cannot be recovered — not even by us.
Enable Face ID / fingerprint in Profile → Settings. Heartbeat auto-locks after 2 minutes in the background.
Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This erases your account and both partners’ media. Or email privacy@heartbeat.living with subject “Delete my data.”
Tap the heart to send a beat — your partner feels haptics instantly. Double-tap their avatar for a love burst. Verify safety numbers together in person under Chat info.
